Will Monstrum 2 be Free-To-Play?
No, there will be an initial purchase price for Monstrum 2, but we’re doing our very best to keep this a low as possible. The purchase price hasn’t been finalised yet, so we’re unable to confirm what this will be at this stage.
How much will Monstrum 2 cost?
Until the 4th of February the game will be available for just $12.99. The price may vary in the future as we head towards full launch.

Will Monstrum 2 feature a single-player mode?
Monstrum 2 is designed from the ground up to be played and enjoyed with others, and we want to focus all of our attention on making the best multiplayer experience that we can.
Will Monstrum 2 be released on consoles?
We're still very early in development, at the moment, but this is something that we're looking into, and as soon as we have more solid details we’ll make sure to let you know.
Will Monstrum 2 feature the monsters from the original Monstrum or will there be new monsters?
The Brute has made a comeback, but this time he has brought along some new friends! We know fans are eager to see the return of the Hunter and Fiend, but right now, these are not planned. However, who knows what the future may hold.
Will there be a mode with an A.I. controlled Monster?
No, there are no plans to produce an AI monster in Monstrum 2. After Monstrum 1, one of the most requested features was multiplayer where players could control the monster, and that is what Monstrum 2 was designed after. There are too many complications with developing an AI for a round-based, multiplayer game of this scale, and so we will be focusing purely on improving the current scaling asymmetric gameplay
Will you be releasing extra maps / the M1 monsters / other DLC / etc.?
There are plans for post-launch content, but we can't give any specifics yet. Let's focus on the base game first!
When is Monstrum 2 set compared to the original, and how do the two tying together?

Will the game be playable offline?
No. Due to the multiplayer nature of Monstrum 2, it will require an internet connection to allow access to our servers for you to be able to play.
Will there be a levelling or character progression system?
You will gain levels based on time spent playing each character, but these will unlock cosmetics, instead of character abilities. There will not be character skill trees.
Will there be micro-transactions?
There will be purchasable cosmetics, but these will also be earnable via gameplay. No content will be locked behind a paywall, and will not feature pay-to-win gameplay. We will also not have lootboxes.
What languages will the game be available in?
For text, we currently have the following languages implemented to varying extents:

- Chinese (Simplified)

Voice lines are only in English.
Can I add my friends from Steam to play with?
There is a private lobby system based on entering a room code to join friends. Use this system to play together!
Is there keybinding? Does this include controller?
Yes, keybinds can be changed from the options menu for mouse/keyboard. Controller support overall is not fully implemented yet and the gameplay experience may not be as good when using one. Menus are not fully functional with a controller but if keybinds for the controller are changed in the settings, they will work in-game.
Are there graphics settings?
Yes - you can change your texture quality between high, medium, and low. There are also toggle-able shadows and a field of view slider.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- Currently high and medium texture settings are both set to medium due to RAM issues. This will be fixed as soon as possible.
- Changing graphics settings in-game may cause crashes.
Are there audio settings? Yes - there are currently sliders for master volume, music, and SFX.
CAN I FIGHT THE MONSTER? Will there be weapons?!
No. Monstrum is, and always has been a non-combat game. The focus of our gameplay is stealth vs the chase.
