Sometimes a Community Manager (CM) or Player Support agent might ask you for a DxDiag report. Below you can find information on how to create this report and why it is needed.
How to Create a DxDiag Report
- Press Start in Windows or on your keyboard
- Search/type in "DxDiag" and open the application
- Press "Save All Information..." at the bottom of the window
- Navigate to an easily accessible location on your system and "Save" the report
The file you just created can now be shared with our CM's via a message in Discord or with the Player Support team in a ticket.
What information is included in this file? Is it safe to send?
A DxDiag report gives the developers and our technical staff the chance to look at your system, including:
- System Information
- Display Devices
- Sound Devices
- Sound Capture Devices
- DirectInput Devices
- USB Devices
- System Devices
- Driver versions
Bugs and technical issues can have many different reasons, and this information increases the chances of solving them by providing us with some details about your hard- and software.
There is no sensitive information included, only the names of your hard drives and your system name. Feel free to look up the file and erase any information you don't want to share with us.
